Steamed Prawns With Chinese Herbs
Ingredients
- Double Happiness Strengthen Immune System Soup Black Bean Nourishing Soup Pack X1
- Fresh Prawn
- Chinese Wine (Optional)
- Salt or broth powder to taste
Method
- Wash all the Chinese herbs and clean prawns before cooking.
- Make a few shallow slits on red and black dates. You can remove the pits too if you want. This helps to release the sweetness to the soup.
- Combine herbs and water in a pot. Bring to a boil for 5 minutes. Reduce the heat and cook for another 20 minutes.
- Place prawns in a heatproof dish. Pour in herbal soup and chinese wine (optional).
- Steam over high heat for 8 minutes or until cooked. Serve immediately.
- Can be served with rice or noodles.
