Mashed Potatoes With Brown Gravy
Ingredients
- Double Happiness Brown Sauce
- Potatoes
- softened butter
- heavy cream (optional)
- garlic , minced
- Bega cheese shredded
- Salt (optional)
- Warm water
Method
Mashed potato
- Place the peeled and chopped potatoes in a large stock pot and completely cover with water.Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to maintain a light boil, and cook until fork tender, 10-12 minutes.
- Add 4 Tbsp butter, cheese ,cream and salt and mix well.
- Mix until creamy adding more heavy cream if necessary to reach desired consistency.
Brown Gravy Sauce
- Blend 10g of brown gravy mix into 70ml of warm water while stirring well.
- Bring to boil and stir constantly.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 3-5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
